John Lennon, George Harrison, Montrose, Fall out Boy, Bryan Adams and Jeff Lynne, Electric Light Orchestra, G. Love and Special Sauce, Nightstalker, Jesse Malin, Drive By Truckers, Mutemath, Cage The Elephant, The Detergents, Stevie Wonder, Tommy Castro and The Painkillers, Kurt Vile

And so the blitz begins. A week before Halloween
I started to see a commercial for a certain big electronics
store. In the spot a man in a red scarf is not "elfin'" around
[Their words not mine..] when it comes to shopping for gifts.
I decided to count how many times I encounter the spot before
its really the holidays. So far since the last week of October I
counted 23 airings. As soon as I see the bald head and the red
scarf I count it as one and change the channel. I detest commercials
and always have another show, usually a sporting event to fill in the
air time. So just a glimpse of the spot I'm counting. All the while
chuckling to myself . The Houston Ballet's production of the nut-
whacker spot has it beat probably 5 to 1. No wonder people go,
they're brainwashed. Enjoy the set.
