An Amazing thing has Happened. Something I have waited for
my entire life. The Loveable Chicago Cubs have won the
National League Pennant for the first time in 71 years. I
have given little thought to the World Series I was so focused
on the pennant. For those wondering back in the 19th century
when baseball began, it was actually a large pennant
flag. So even though it involves a trophy today (which I had
never seen before) originally it involved a flag also. Many
times you have seen the flags at Wrigley with 1908 on it.
That's a great example. I'm so thrilled I'm rambling.
