Dear Big AL,

we interrupt this program... Not the usual comment this time. Erased it. Why? Got sometin better. Do you believe? No, not that deep, just in the Fox Mulder way? Personally I don't take coincidences too seriously. Our brain wants to see connectivity and puts it there. Period. On the other hand sometimes strange things happen and that makes you wonder. Really just coincidence? Three times yeah, but awfully funny. Like this one.

I was on UTube again, just surfing, like on the radio airwaves in the last century. With No Particular Place To Go. Looked up some Skynyrd, led me to Drive By Truckers led me to The Riff Truckers. But then I was touched by the finger of - Rockcast. If you find the time type The Riff Truckers. ALFest'15 into UTube. And there you have a Party On The Patio! Well, behind the patio. Isn't that funny? With the same mistyped AL I use since I first wrote a comment. The Twilight Zone! Even better, the video pretty much shows something I would buy as a Big AL Fest. Oh, and here's the best part: posted Aug 27th, 2015. Hehe. That is so cool, just four days after. Incredible.

The rational part of me says Superstition ain't the way, no, no, no. (Stevie Wonder). Yet under the surface is more and that goes Buscando una fiesta! (Tito & Tarantula - Angry Cockroaches, 1996)

Okay, where to now? You know what, the afore mentioned band ain't so bad. And they have cool artwork. Since I erased the suggestions I can only offer the song that recently makes the Dino hop. Mike Zito & The Wheel - Chin Up. The man has not been played on Rockcast, if I remember correctly, at least not as Mike Zito. But with the RSB. As a smart-ass I detect George "The Destroyer" Thorogood in there, shades of Rory Gallagher and a hint of Bon Scott. But life is not a wine tasting and so: That makes the Dino hop. And hey, you played Wendy James. Cool, never forget that London's Brilliant. And you played Cheap Trick - All Strung Out. That's so... Bowie, Iggy and Lou Reed fueled up with a really bad Seventies sound. I'm a sucker for stream of consciousness lyrics with and the all hell breakes loose guitars and the drums knock you out. "He digs and sees Johnny Cash, but he loves Courtney Love with a (pause) passion". Fantastic!

Before I go something about being stoopid. It's easy, even I can do it. And it goes like this. Something distracts you and you don't finish your Rockcast. And then you forget. Happened with me with Rockcast Nov 06th 2015. Why that was so stoopid? Because one of the best songs you ever played was the last one and it took me some extra months to find out. But then Kurt Vile - Pretty Pimpin instantly made it to my Rockcast Top 50. So from now on no clicking before "This is the Rock". Ha, even old fools can learn. It just takes ten years.

Keep on t'rockin (Hot Tuna)

Dino
