Sandra Bland is a name everyone should know and no one
should forget. Sandra's only mistake was changing lanes without
using her cars turn signal. Of course changing lanes without use
of a signal is illegal but I see people do it tens of times a day in
my neighborhood alone. None of these folks had to spend three
days in jail for it. It would of been longer but Sandra tragically
ended up losing her life. The Texas DPS officer involved had
been cited before and no longer is on the streets. His behavior
after Ms. Bland refused to put out her cigarette while sitting in
her car is nothing but unacceptable.  Then waller county lockup
tries to say it was a marijuana related suicide. What idiots. The
Houston Chronicle quickly jumped all over this story poking
holes in all the good ole boyz logic. A young Woman, recently
a college grad, getting her life together and about to start a job
at her alma mater loses her life over not using her turn signal
to change lanes. Someone needs to answer.
